The 32nd floor at the Mandalay Bay is going to disappear. The floor number that the gunman Stephen Paddock uses to kill and injure multiple people will be eliminated , MGM Resorts confirmed Thursday. The renumbering of the floors will take place in mid February and instead of the floors being 31 through 34 it will be floors 56 through 59.
Mandalay Bay said last year that room 32135 where Paddock stayed would never be opened to guests. The renumbering of the floors will be confusing since the hotel only has 43 stories. Floors 35 to 39 wont change since it is used by the Four Seasons Las Vegas as a hotel in a hotel. The top four floors 60 to 63 will stay the same.
