In 2014, the most expensive resort on the Atlantic City board walk went bankrupt, closed its doors and stood there empty in all its glory until the resort was bought for 82 million dollars in 2016, by Florida based real estate investor Glenn Straub. After trouble with licensing Straub recently sold the property to Denver Integrated properties for 200 million dollars. The old Revel Resort is scheduled to reopen as the “Ocean Resort” this summer. prior to selling the property, Glenn Straub planned on called it “TEN”.
The hope is that this resort will bring the glory back Atlantic City.
