Aviation geeks assemble! There is a hotel room in Tokyo that has a full Boeing 737-800 flight simulator. The room is called the “Superior Cockpit Room” and is located in the Haneda Excel Hotel. The property is connected to terminal 2 of Haneda International Airport. The room has all the normal features of a hotel room, bed, bathroom, and wifi but in addition there is a flight simulator in the room as well. There are multiple flight plans you can choose from when wanting to use the simulator or stay the night. You can book a 90-minute session with an instructor for $299 and you get to fly from HND to Osaka without staying the night. A night in the room goes for $232 and the simulator is not included you would have to book the room and simulator separately. A plus is that the room overlooks the runway of the airport so after your done landing that 737 you can go plane spotting, a real one!

If you want to book the “Superior Cockpit Room” you will have to use the Japanese version of the site, not the US one.

With love from NYC,
