Positive: The Location was nice, there is a sea view from the pool. The place has potential to become something special with a bit more work. The one room had a nice new queen sized bed. The beds were okay, and there were enough pillows

Negative: The path from our flatlet to the pool was a construction zone i.e. the path was not completed and there is a section where there is a drainage pipe in a bed of sand that we had to navigate our way over to get to the pool with two toddlers. There were no tables or chairs in the flatlet, only two high barstools that were haphazardly thrown outside the door. There were some cement seats and tables outside, but only one lot were actually assembled to dine at. Due to the tiered nature of the garden, the only way to reach it was to walk down the path, still under construction, and walk along a narrow ledge of a retaining wall. The pool itself was constantly covered in leaves and there was a damaged floating chair half-sunken in it which got so much in the way that my husband eventually removed it, while I was scooping out leaves, so we could swim. The room with the new Queen sized bed in was impossible to sleep in, because there is no fan in the room, and there were millions of mosquitoes, so my husband had to sleep in the kitchen under the fan, and I had to sleep on the single bed in my daughter's quarters while she slept on the double bed with both girls. There were no bath mats by the showers in either section, however, when we had been there for 2 days we noted there were two hanging on the washline, so we took them assuming they had been meant for us, but forgotten on the washline. One bath towel was provided for 5 of us. We would have happily brought our own, but the place was advertised to have provided towels. The kitchenette is stocked with leftovers from somewhere. Being an antiques fanatic, I am not against second hand things per se, but there were chipped mugs, old pots one of which the base was peeling off, blunt knives, two plastic takeaway spoons and China plastic knives and forks with plastic handles from which the metallic paint had worn off. The lights in the kitchen were broken, so a bedside lamp was put on top of the fridge.
