Positive: Our recent stay at Kohu by Honeyvale near Chikmagalur was truly refreshing in every sense. Nestled amidst the calm of the hills, the property offers the kind of peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel the calmness from within. One of the most memorable aspects of our stay was waking up to misty mornings. A soft layer of fog would decorate the landscape, creating a serene and almost magical setting. The view from the resort is absolutely breathtaking, calming, and the perfect backdrop for a quiet reading session (change this to a quiet cup of coffee if you want). The kind of scenery that makes you put your phone down and truly enjoy it, capturing the scenery forever. The resort has been thoughtfully designed, with different sections and room categories to suit varying preferences. The interiors are beautifully done. They're comfortable, well-maintained, and aesthetically pleasing without feeling overdone. There’s a balance between warmth and elegance that makes the stay feel both cozy and elevated. Despite the peaceful setting, there was never a dull moment. Every evening, the staff organized bonfires accompanied by music, creating a lively yet relaxed atmosphere. Sitting around the fire with soft music playing in the background became a highlight of our trip. It was well-managed, welcoming, and added a special charm to the nights. Another feature, a room which was easily accessible and well-stocked with sports equipment. From badminton rackets to a carrom board complete with coins, and even a table tennis table with rackets, it provided the perfect opportunity for some light-hearted family fun. We spent quality time playing together, and it added an interactive dimension to what was otherwise a quiet retreat. The food was consistently good throughout our stay. Each meal was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Whether it was breakfast to start the day or dinner after a long evening by the bonfire, the quality remained reliable and enjoyable.
