Positive: The hosts were wonderful in all respects. They make great food. I love the living area/common space/open kitchen. They give space heaters for the rooms, which is absolutely necessary to weather the winter. The bathroom was spacious and well equipped. There's a lot of storage space even for a small room.

Negative: The room we got was adequate, but its window faces the building beside. As a result, the room felt smaller and slightly claustrophobic. Also, the brick and cement walls tend to absorb the cold, so it was actually much colder inside our room than either the larger living space or even outdoors. Made bearable by the space heater, but still chilly to the bones.

Summary: Worth your stay, hospitable, especially if you can get rooms facing the open.
