As one treks to higher altitudes, one can witness an amazing VIEW OF THE KUDREMUKH VALLEY; and soothe one's nerves by soaking their feet in the gurgling streams in CRYSTAL CLEAR WATER finally culminating into a waterfall. It would be a place of inspiration for NATURE FOR PHOTOGRAPHY, LANDSCAPE ARTISTS AND POETS. One travels through a short mountainous winding path to get to our stay.
02. This is a 200-YEAR OLD house that has been restored back to life, with an ARTISTIC TOUCH to it. The architecture of the house is symbolic of ANCIENT & ANCESTRAL ARCHITECTURE of India. There is no doubt that people who adore ancestral and architectural houses will fall in love with this homestay.
03. The house is adorned with a lot of fine pieces of ART AND ARTEFACTS from places across the country. It consists of musical instruments and board games to keep you company.

01. This is a 200 year old house surrounded by thick cover of trees; the stay isn't a typical city side house. That being said, this could also be your chance to experience the wonders of nature. Travellers who aren't accustomed to FOREST COVERS may find it slightly difficult to get acclimatized initially.
02. The stay is located in an off beat location with a SLIGHTLY MOUNTAINOUS TERRAIN; this might pose to be a slight challenge for non seasoned drivers and travellers. Also, due to it's location, there may be SLIGHT CONNECTIVITY ISSUES now and then in particular spots of the stay.
03. We believe in a completely ORGANIC LIFESTYLE; smoking, consumption of alcohol or non-vegetarian cuisine is prohibited here.
At the very first look, the place screams out VINTAGE STYLE ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION. The place is a typical “GUTTHU HOUSE” which means ancient houses having roofs made of clay tiles. The house has been renovated and can accommodate a maximum of 15 GUESTS.
The house is a 2 BEDROOM house with an ATTIC/LOFT featuring a collection of arts and artefacts from ancient times with WOODEN PILLARS and an ANTIQUE OPEN ROOF CENTRE SPACE. One can also relax in the SIT OUT DECK surrounded by LUSH GREEN TREES, feeling rejuvenated and calm.
The 2 bedrooms consist of QUEEN SIZED BEDS comfortable for 2 people with ADEQUATE PILLOWS AND BLANKETS. Travellers with an inability to withstand cold temperatures are advised to CARRY AN ADDITIONAL JACKET with them, if need be as the place tends to get quite CHILLY DURING THE RAINS AND WINTERS. Both bedrooms consist of ATTACHED PRIVATE BATHROOMS with facility for HOT WATER. Guests are requested to have their personal bath towels. Both bedrooms consist of a PRIVATE DOOR.
The ATTIC/LOFT is a closed ATTIC with sufficient windows and ventilation. The ATTIC can comfortably ACCOMMODATE 10 FLOOR MATTRESSES with sufficient space to move around. The place has one additional COMMON WASHROOM. The COMMON LIVING SPACE is an EXHIBITION of forms and types of ARTS. During the rains, one can enjoy the SPLASHING OF WATER in the CENTRE SPACE. The living room also houses a RUSTIC & VINTAGE DINING TABLE which can be used to serve atleast 6 GUESTS at a time.
The house contains an OPEN KITCHEN with all BASIC AMENITIES AND COOKING REQUIREMENTS. We have a LOVELY COUPLE who host our guests at they stay. They shall ASSIST OUR GUESTS with MEAL REQUIREMENTS. One gets to taste some of the CLASSIC VEGETARIAN SAVOURY DISHES prepared by them.
The stay is surrounded by GREENERY AND WATERFALLS. One can enjoy TRAIL WALKS along the forest path with streams of water flowing around. Surrounded completely by nature, the place is PRIVATE, CALM and SERENE – the perfect getaway from the hustling of the city.
We have ample amount of FREE SPACE FOR PARKING. Guests who intend on travelling by private means of transport can perhaps consider a VEHICLE with HIGHER GROUND CLEARANCE.
The stay is situated amidst the greens of nature; hence we believe in AN ORGANIC LIFESTYLE. Only vegetarian cuisine is served at the stay. Consumption of ALCOHOL, NON VEGETARIAN CUISINE is PROHIBITED at the stay.
The TARIFF mentioned is inclusive of STAY AND BREAKFAST. All OTHER MEALS shall please be charged ADDITIONAL, at about Rs. 250 per meal.
