On the farm, a school with agriculture and horse specialization is run during school hours and the cottage then serves as a student residence. Here they farm crops (Sweden's largest school farm) and have many animals, horses, cows, pigs and sheep.
In the area there is a medieval castle, Bollerups Borg, surrounded by a moat, which is worth a visit, as well as a very beautiful church.
