Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: A few minutes' walk from the station or the port from your ferry, and even with a heavy backpack it was easy. The house has been lovingly restored at some point and has retained many of its original features. My bed was soft but I still woke up well. All bedding is new or very nearly so, the pillows quite thick, and the duvet warm. The shower is typical Scandinavian, meaning you won't bump your elbows when washing your hair, my room was large enough for one person and the only thing missing was a table to work at, but that really meant that I got some rest instead. The windows are excellent at soundproofing the room, but with the window open it can be a little noisy. Not so much that it was disruptive for me, but noticeable in the background. Even when they were talking outside my door, other guests weren't a bother. Outside there is somewhere that, if you wish, you can take your morning cigarette and coffee looking over the harbour. The manager was very helpful and friendly, with a smile every time I saw him.

Negative: No work table in my room, and it was a little cold.

Summary: A delightful property for a short stay, thoroughly recommended.
